Just the beginning.
As I construct this week’s internal dialogue exhibition I would like to externally share with you all exactly how I am feeling in this moment. The first time I heard Bob Dylan read his “Last Thoughts On Woody Guthrie” I was in my car, alone, driving across the country. At 19 I was moving from Minneapolis, MN to Los Angeles, CA. It was the first time I had ever seen the Rocky Mountains. My car was coming into Denver, the sun had a dim glow while it set behind mountains, and Bob Dylan’s Bootleg Series Vol. 1 was beginning the last track. Tears filled my eyes as I witnessed the most majestic visuals I had yet laid eyes on and I was hearing words constructed together like I had never heard before. I pulled over and yelled to the heavens “You have got to be kidding me!” In that moment I was amazed with life. If you have a few minutes watch, listen and Enjoy! My week 3 post coming soon. PEACE.
